Default New guy...probably stupid question

Hey, I've searched but I can't find an answer.

Will there be a 1.5 patch or is it only with the add-on? I don't have any desire to captain a U-boat, but I'd like the decreased load times...

There has been no announced 1.5 patch, but I would not be surprised if there was one eventually which the core program and add-on can share.

I personally doubt it somewhat. But I hope the new features will eventually be made worthwhile for the US Sub captains to warrant an upgrade!

Well...I think I'll wait for a few more reports from people who have it, then. If the enhancements are worth it, then I guess I'll get it just for that.

From what I read of the new Add On Read Me file on the Ubi forum, it is my understanding that this will update your install to be version 1.5.

Seems like what Ubi did with IL-2's versioning: a free update here and there, then a paid add-on that has new bells and whistles.

No standalone patch will be provided. Too much has been changed / reprogrammed to make it a viable option.

Default Another silly question

With the Add On about to be delivered, I thought I would install SH4 again, to a different drive, so as to keep my current setup in place.

However, the Autorun.exe grays out the Install option, and setup.exe says that there is an existing install, and ends.

So how have those who have installed it twice done it?

Regards to All

Geoff

Geoff,

Basically you copy your SH4 directory into another directory, then you need to run MultiSH4 from each directory (I think), to create your save directories in your "My Documents" folder.
Go to this thread for more info:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...light=multish4

Hope this helps!
