I did two searches but they didn't turn up a solution to the problem. So I find myself having to ask the community in general.
The problem I'm having is that I recently installed GWX 2.0 ontop of a clean install of SH3 v1.4b. The reason I did this was to play in the Indian Ocean / Pacific Ocean (IO/PO) or the Black Sea, and as I understand it, the way I do this is to enable the appropriate "module" through JSGME. With either the IO/PO or Black Sea Only modules enabled, I then start the game. Once in game I start a new career, and select the appropriate flotilla once its available in the appropriate year. The problem is that I always seem to start off the "bend" of Africa (where the western coast juts out perpendicular to the north-south line of the coast from the cape) with no bases to start or end at, just a patrol reference. I'm not sure if I missed something in the documentation or an online discussion, but it's beginning to get frustrating, especially given the already limited time I have available to play SH3 in.
