None that I know of. Some of the vaunted U-Boat aces did aid in the development of subsims. Otto Kretschmer served as a technical advisor for Aces of the Deep in the 1990s, and also recorded several interviews specially for the game's bonus features. Erich Topp was an advisor for SH2.
