Hi chaps,

Not a mod but a movie

I thought I'd share with you a short movie trailer for a movie which I've been working on for the last 18 months which features the game. The current running length is approx. 45 minutes and I'm expecting the finished movie to run for 1 hour.

Hi mate,

I'm so enjoying your S-Boat mod and very much looking forward to the finished version, congrats, great work.

The ground warfare shots are from Theatre of War, Red Orchestra and Forgotten Hope 2 for Battlefield 2.

PS. The reason that I wanted to post to this forum was that I really enjoy vsiting here and admiring the work of all of the modders here and the movie contains some absolutely amazing mods from this community.

Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. I still have quite a bit to do but I guess the movie is about 3/4 finished and I had a good session working on it over the weekend. Yes Paco, there are a few scenes from FH2 towards the end of the trailer and I'd reccommend a BIG bag of popcorn and at least a six-pack as it's a long film, you might also consider taking a "comfort" break first mate

I've always loved "modding" games and enjoying the mods produced by others and that's why I love hanging out on this forum as the quality of mods and enthusiasm here is simply amazing as well as this being one of the most friendly and knowledgeable communities I know of.

The film features tons of mods. for all of the games featured and one of the most extensively modded is, of course, SH3 with GWX and other mods. What motivated me to start working on the movie apart from it being something that I've always wanted to do was that, for the first time, there are excelelent quality land, sea and air combat simulations available at the same time made even better by those in the modding community and a few humble modding efforts and SFX by me to fill in a few gaps and round things off.

I'll post more news when I have it.
