Default uboat.sim files

Im working on a new mod, but I need some help to understand somethings...

on the uboat.sim file we find, on minitweaker

restr_dist = 200 whatta hell is this?
maxTraverse = 360/minTraverse = 0 ok the traverses i think is about how much can turn the uboat port/starboard
minTraverse = 0
speedTraverse = 20 if i was right on the above, how the turning speed affects the uboat? It just turns faster?
maxElevation/minElevation = Is this the max angle the uboat can climb/dive into water?
speedElevation = so this must be how fast can it dive/surface?
trav_min/trav_max = no idea...
elev_min/elev_man = same as max/min elevation above?
mass = this is pretty obvious and i know what it changes/does/consequences...
gc_height = dunno squat...
fr_ratio = dunno squat...
put_on_water = means that can be put on ground or water 0/1?
displacementSurfaced = the weight above the waves
draughtSurfaced = no idea...
dragSurfaced = how much the water tries to hold the uboat's speed over the sea?
displacementSubmerged = the weight under the waves
draughtSubmerged = no idea...
dragSubmerged = how much the water tries to hold the uboat's speed under the sea?

The drag submerged is less (0,3 against 0,2) then the drag surfaced, shouldn't be the oposite? I mean, underwater theres much more of the submarine hitting agains the water molecules, isn't it?

If any of you would be so kind to explain me what each thing does, I would be very pleased. Im from Brazil, so sometimes I do understand what a word means, but not what its trying to say, like in the "draughtsurfaced" case...

draughtsubmerged may determine when you get the sinking effect.
trav min/max does indeed define the traverse or side to side restrictions
elev min/max is the up and down movement.
(Don't want to blow a hole through the command deck or bow of ship!)
