Default Newbie in need of help

I have owned the game for a while but not been able to play. So now i am going to play a bit more and i want to learn this better. I saw once in some video, were the player had the auto lock on but how does he change depth of torpedos and change direction a bit. I meen so the torpedoes don't all go on the same place?

Left side, look at the slider bottom left. There is a label called TORPEDO SETTING, slide the bar DOWN. Look at the dials. There is one to set the depth and one to change the ANGLE at 1 degree incements LEFT and RIGHT. That is the one you want to fiddle with [the angle of the spread] to avoid the same impact "spots". Set a torpedo, press "W" to set the next torpedoe, and so on. DON'T FORGET before firing to reset the yellow circle on the first torpedo setting you changed BEFORE you fire. Take your mouse click on the FIRST MODIFIED torpedo setting. Fire away (a spread of angles and/or depth), press "W" to fire the next modified setting.

Bill is in the mail. Send CASH ONLY as the method of payment. Large bills, I prefer $100 bills.
