Looking to get back into SH4!

Greetings all,

I purchased SH4 when it launched, but promptly un-installed it due to a few bugs I just couldn't get over. One of which was the ability to watch torpedoes as they headed towards their targets. The ones you could watch on the map....my apologies, but I have no clue what the name of the screen is

I'm considering re-installing the game after seeing that SH4 got a best Sim for 2007 in Pc Gamer. The brief article explained that a LOT of the bugs had been fixed and the game runs great now. This is excellent news, but I'd like to hear from those who are playing now. Is the game better than it was at launch?

My Sub Sim knowledge is very limited and I usually play on the less realistic settings. I truly enjoyed SH3 and am looking forward to firing up SH4 depending on the response here.
