Surface radar activation after surfacing

I'm running latest TM (i.e.1.7.6, TM sound, TM GFX_ROW ver etc).
Is there a setting I can tweak that will automatically switch on the surface search radar when I resurface from a dive. I've noticed that ever time I surface the radar is off (understandable as it isn't used underwater LOL) but it remains off and it would be one less thing to micromanage if it was turned on automatically after surfacing. As it is now I have to check the GUI each time and manually switch it on.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

You will have to turn it off to approach task forces,or intersept without useing.
