Default Scapa Flow - No Ships!

Had to start from scratch due to PC meltdown. Using GW2, left base Oct 39 on 2nd mission to patrol GS BE61 for 24 hours. Not 1 contact during transit. After completing mission objective, crossed Biscay up the French coast through Irish Sea past west of Scotland without seeing anything but gulls. In desparation I entered Scapa Flow, imagine my suprise, theres's nothing there. No ships, tugs, nets, mines - absolutely nothing. Current date 26/10/39, sitting on the bottom waiting for dawn. Weather calm. What's wrong? Or am I missing something.

I had this problem too. If I remember correctly it is to do with the Mods you can install through JSGME. I uninstalled all the mods and then only reinstalled the ones that didn't bring up the message 'This mod is already installed by "such and such" file'. By such and such, I mean I can't remember the exact wording of the message. I carried out 2 campaign patrols without seeing a single soul before I sorted it.

Hope this is some help.

PS.

Welcome aboard, Herr Kaleun!

I've got GWX2 with all the GWX mods plus a few others by AIL installed via JSGME.

Should I quit my mission and restore by backup settings or should I abandon the career and start again?

By the way don't follow "The Toon" - 22 jessies kicking a bag of wind about - pointless excercise.

I changed my mods and then started a new career. Then again, I had only done 2 patrols. You might be able to restore by back up, someone else here is probably in a better position to tel you than me.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I see you list your interest as cycling :hmm:

That explains it all

Back OT.....if you've followed the installation instructions on the GWX website to the letter,it can only be one of two things:

You have been unlucky or one or mote of the AIL mods are not compatable

Tango.

"The Toon" is a nickname for Newcastle United Football Club. It's widely asumed that anyone with a Geordie Accent slavishly follows said club and the game that they are meant to be playing.

Not true.

I'd rather watch paint dry, It's much more exciting.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am guessing you have either the Black Sea or Indian ocean campaign files enabled through JSGME
If thats the case you will see no shipping in the Atlantic

Disable them
