Weird weather problem?

Ok I did a patrol yesterday and I came across a convoy in the largest waves I have ever seen. but then I noticed the strangest thing, the waves were so big that it had sunk a C3 cargo I followed the convoy for about 2 hours(convoy was moving at about 3 knots). All was going well until the waves got bigger, and sank most of the convoy.

Sounds like a corrupt Scene.dat file! If you have minitweaker check the relative wave height settings.

What mods do you run? Are you loading the game via SH3 Commander? If YES about SH3C, then check if you have the 'Seasonal Waves' option enabled. This makes waves twice as high as normal in winter. And with a 15 m/s wind plus doubled by the seasonal setting, waves can get pretty high.

I've tweaked the wave heights during testing and seen anything and everything that usually floats, sink.
The game engine treats flooding the same as it does damage.

I assume the mod Hurricane is in reference to a plane! I think SH3commander has settings for wave height, other than that I can't see anything that would effect the weather, try disabling the last few mods that were put in and give it a go.
