I remember a mod by Von Kretschmann that removed the very repetitive 'Jahwohl Herr Kaleun'. It worked fine with the old GWX, but does it work with GWX v2 and will it work with the new update that's on its way?
Thanks Grey Wolves for your excellent work. I think it's unbelievable that you've got an update fixed up so quickly after the release of GWX v2. Good hunting! |

You can get rid of it yourself. Just open the speech files named *Yes_Sir.ogg (such as ChE_K_Yes_Sir.ogg) with a sound editor and delete their content. DO NOT physically delete the files, or the game will CTD when trying to load them.

But then I realized that SH3 does not always respond cleanly when you push a key. The 'Jahwohl Herr Kaleun' is sometimes the only way I can be sure in a tight spot that SH3 got the message from me.

I'd be happy to get rid of that repetitive cough which sounds like a toy kazoo or something. Thanks for the tip.

I removed the "Jawhol" when I did my sound mod two years ago. Does GWX have it or not?
If you don't want it, just do as dcb said.

GWX has the stock "Yes, sir"/"Jawohl, Herr Kaleun" speech. Pablo
