Default SLAM-ER Tactics With P-3

Hi all,

Coming back after a long absense. Anyway, I'm doing the second P-3 mission. You have to target four huts and hit them.

I do a fly-by and vistally mark the targets with the IRDS. I right-click on the contacts on the map and then select attack with SLAM-ER.

The problem is that the SLAM-ER doesn't always hit the target. Or, I should say, the target isn't always spot on the hut.

How can I more effectively employ the SLAM-ER against buildings?

SLAMER= Standoff Land Attack Missile-Extended Response

Move a few miles out before you launch, and try to orient the plane towards the huts.

I'll try that. But I'm not having a problem with the missle getting close to the target. The problem is that when I declare a visual contact with the camera, the contact isn't *exactly* on the hut. And once I declare a contact, I don't know how to make micro-adjustments to its position.

In other words, the missle will impact (and the camera will track) 50' or so from the hut.
