Default A friendly reminder

First, allow me to wish all of our subsimmers a Happy New Year. Now, I know that the drink is most popular on this evening, and I hope you do enjoy yourself responsibly. This is the most important when it comes to driving, but I am here to remind you to post responsibly as well.

After reading some of the posts here, it does so appear that the festivites are well in hand, but please do keep in mind that there will be a Tuesday morning. I have read the words of regret enough to know that no one likes to scrape the egg from their face as a result of drunken posting the night before. So, please, keep your reputations intact.

My drunken posts are all incomprehensable. I keep finding them when I scan through my
posted messages.
At worst a little baffling spam I suppose.

Anyway, Happy new year.

Puts me in mind of an E-Bay seller who warned people about bidding on a Saturday night that if they won the item then, drunk or not, in the sobering light of the next day, they would have to stump up the money whether they remember or not.
Done that and have the T-shirt [the T-shirt cost me £150 but we won't go into that :rotfl: ]

Ecclesiastes 12
[11] The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.

Great advice to heed Takeda. Happy New Year All !

Get plowed, let loose, and lay into people. Ok, gotcha.

(acutally, my new years is going to be a dry one - with most of the evening spent at work )

It's a family affair for me. So nothing of the sort

That said, do I EVER hear you. A couple of months back I got very smashed and came back to post on a forum... in the morning woke up to a mod informing me of a (temp) ban and how he had to remove about 200 (!) posts of my gibberish by hand.
Fortunately that forum wasn't subsim

Thanks Takeda, and a Happy New Year to you. However, instead of hanging around here, I have challenged my family to Guitar Hero, and I have fallen over at least thrice.

But anyway, everyone enjoy themselves
