Known bugs quote from community manual

Quoting the "Known Bug" section of the community manual.....

"When returning from a mission in campaign mode, if you get too close to the starting point of a mission (dock)... you will not recieve any credit for anything you accomplished and you will not be awarded any points. "

At the conclusion of my last patrol, I took the boat all the way into the bunker upon my return to the base. I didn't notice if I lost the renown points I should have gained, but in doing the math, it seems maybe I did?

Does this bug still exist? Should I be teleporting back to the base?
