Yeah go to the control panel, use add and remove programs... find SH3 and follow the on screen instructions to whip everything out.

when it asks you to keep save data click no...

you may need to delete your main SH3 folder too in My programs.

Or do what Danlisa says....

Also, clear the registry. Enter regedit in the 'run' text box in the 'start' menue and delete the Ubisoft folders.

Not advisable if you have other Ubisoft titles on your PC.

My own little favourite is to perform the 'Uninstall' operation with the SH3 disc.......BE ADVISED.....on occasion it is sometimes the case that the 'Ubisoft' folder is actually left containing a few residual files.
IF YOU ONLY HAVE THE ONE UBISOFT GAME INSTALLED IN YOUR MACHINE.....DELETE IT!!

Okay then, just go into the Ubisoft folder and delete the SH3 folder

None taken

I hasten to add, the deletion process should only be carried out AFTER you have performed the usual uninstall process

I have also found it extemely important to run a deframentation after any major changes. Deleting large numbers of files leaves a lot of residual crud. Thanks to the GWX developers for the best game yet!

Good point.

Little thing I found out today, maybe it'll help somebody.

I completely uninstalled SH3 and all remenets there of to prepare for GWX 2.
After re-installing SH3, when I came to patch it up to 1.4 standard I encountered all kind of problems. No matter what I tried the patches all refused to install. After much head scratching I tried un-installing SH3 Commander as-well. After this I was able to patch SH3 up to 1.4 no problem.

Maybe it was just an perculiarity on my system, but now I'm ready for GWX 2.
