I'd like to edit some of SH3's .dat files but have no idea how I can open them, as they're not accepted by Photoshop.
Any ideas? Thanks.

There are 4 programs which can extract & import the TGA files from inside the DAT files:
1)Pack 3D - http://files.filefront.com/P3dAllVer.../fileinfo.html 2)Chessmaster Extraction Tool - http://files.filefront.com/DatTexExt.../fileinfo.html 3)Timetravellers Extraction Tool - http://files.filefront.com/SH3Unpack.../fileinfo.html 4)S3D Editor - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=119571 Once you have the TGA's outside of the DAT, you can edit them in Photoshop (or other), then I would suggest you import them back in.
