I'd have to say he'd do better than Bush. Does that guy ever NOT screw up a speech? I just get the impression that the republican party PR group can't wait for him to move on.

I sure hope we do better this time. I often ask myself, "When are we going to get a REAL president?" For a number of years now, all the presidential candiates have sucked, one way or another, and it comes down to picking the lesser evil. I think Bush got re elected becaause at least he was a known entity, and everyone had an idea on what we were dealing with. Term limits are a great thing, forces us to pick something new, rather then picking what we know.

Maybe someday we'll have a president who is wise, patient, a good statesman, and will put the interests of the American people over corporate and special interests - but i don't see that happening in my lifetime.
