Default To all German Blade Runner fans: save money!

as some of you know, the ultimate collector's 5 DVD box with extensive documentation, (finally!) the original movie release, an unrated movie release, the director's cut, and the now-to-be-released ultimate cut is being published in early december. Research via Google showed me that apparently the box will feature English, German, Spanish and (I forgot) a fourth language all in one box version, so it makes no difference if oyu order it in Germany or Britain for example. What makes a difference is the price, however. German amazon sells it for 50 euros, all costs inclouded. Britsh Amazon will cost you, inclduing shipping, VAT, 24 pounds, that translates into (factor 1.43) around 34 euros, which saves you enough money to buy anothernew movie DVD for free, or two old movies for free.

Inside Britain you can currently order it with certain cost saving options currently active for only 14 pounds (=20 euros, that is not even the half of the German Amazon price)! So if you happen to know somebody there, and you will visit each other anyway soon, this is the best price you probably get - let him order it for you.

I preordered in Britain for that reason. with that additional 2-5 days in shipping time I can live, and easily so.

Yes, and: plural. there are at least four different versions now. Some say five. Some even say seven, but that is beyond my knowledge.

Öh, nöööö... Thought it only is Amazon.com, the American site. However, it is a preorder what I did, since the box is still not released, so I could corretc that.

but having checked your link and doing the procedure a second time until short of confirming the order at the end (making it valid), all I see is that it sends me on exactly the same route at Amazon.co.uk (British) that I just had passed with the original preorder - not a signle hint about subsim and benefits for it anywhere.

Do I miss something?

Two major releases, the first original version, and the director'S cut. The ukltimate cut now is brandnew, and the one or two others are known about only by hardcore fans and so far have not seen separate releases, as fas as I know.

It'S the first time the first version from the movies 1983 ever is released on DVD. Fans have waited for that since many years.

Yep, just use the search box, type in Blade Runner and hit the ENTER on your keyboard. It's the same route, but it adds a couple dollars to the Subsim account without increasing the price. thanks, Sky.

Plus, I can check for your order in my Amazon UK reports, so I'll know if there was a problem crediting Subsim.

Na dann mach ich das doch mal. Same route, okay, but again: I did not get any hint or clue that subsim is involved short before the final safety button. Placing the complete order new now.

P.S. Done.

P.S. German Amazon.de also attached to your site, Neal? Just bwanting to know, it happens time and again that I order something there (although I have started to order in small private shops again, I don't like that they are dying out and only some major chains remain).

Bah, forget it, I found it. Obviously you are linked to .de as well. Never was aware of that, sorry. Will remember it.

Why don't you replace the amazon banner in your sig, Neal? It reads Amazon.com For that reason I (and maybe others as well?) was thinking it is an American Amazon affair exclusively.

Blade Runner takes place in the year 2019. Only twleve years away. How can we have Nexus Six replicants running amok in the future if I haven't even clapped eyes on a Nexus One point oh yet?
