Got my first VCR tape of it in the late 1980s. Last track of number of times viewed sometime in the 1990s.

Theatrical version on cable TV and VHS: at least three, maybe four.

Director's Cut: Twice on VHS, three times on DVD.

Uncut Version: Well, I watched it regularly at least once a month, either in one sitting or one hour a day, so probably fifteen times, possibly as many as twenty.

On the other hand, since I haven't had a place to call my own, I haven't watched in in a year-and-a-half now (coincidentally the same length of time it's been since I played SH3).

That's okay, though, I have a great memory and something to look forward to.

Like a lot of people here, I've had various incarnations of it on tape for years. First VHS version I had (being the only one available) was the crappier shortened version (the one with the film poster illustration on the cover, and all the typos in the subtitles - 'switch to manuel' - always makes me laugh that one, especially since it's said while they are going into Spain). Then of course I watched the original TV series when it was first produced and screened in the UK, I've also got the 'director's cut' version with the green cover. So a conservative estimate would be, I've seen it maybe thirty or forty times in various forms.

And you're point is?:rotfl:

Also don't forget that the real purpose of all German-based subsims from AOD to SH3 is to recreate Das Boot.
