1) Sinking sound (ie hull breaking up) heard loud from above the surface, but not on the hydrophones.
2) The sirens on ships can be heard almost constantly throughout an attack. Would be good to hear it more faintly when a ship passes directly over head along with the prop sounds. Would like to see these put right. |

the sirens feature was a good idea, but i think they went about it the wrong way, i agree with you, these need to be changed.

1) I wish we could hear the breaking up noises on the phones. If you are close enough to the sinking ship you can hear it through the hull. That function is sorely missed for sure.
2) In RL, the sub could hear the sirens if they were close enough. I use LukeFF sound package found in the ROW thread. He has worked hard on making the sounds directional to were the sound is being created. Very nice work. Anyway, if the DD is on top of you, you can here the sirens. As he pulls away, the sound goes with it. Nice effect really.
