Default Car + Big Rig = Oblivion

http://www.kpho.com/news/14637952/detail.html

Cr*p... It was only a matter of time... I drive about my Freightliner XL about 14K miles a month and have enough trouble just missing the regular idiots out there driving...

I hope this doesn't set off some "copy cat" craze for suicides...

Yeah, that is nuts. Three years ago a model did the same thing but rear-ended a passenger car. Killed her and the two occupants of the vehicle she struck. Involving a innocent bystander is not right. It is almost like the death by cop deal. Involve yourself in a situation that the cop will have to use deadly force no matter what. Just nuts.

That is what is so crazy to me. Of all the potential ways to end ones life, involving an innocent in the process is simply unconscionable.

But then, I guess if one holds their life in such low esteem, they have no concept of the value of anothers...

I'm not sure about that. There have been plenty of charity workers that have topped them selves.

Whilst I think this person acted in a totally immoral way, I'm not sure we can blame him
on the bais that he must have been insane and insensible to his actions at the time.

Or can one be rational, but still want to kill ones self?
I'm not sure.

If he was rational, then he was evil.

Well, they found the note in his wallet so I have to assume he was lucid enough at one time during the "planning to kill myself" stage to explain his "solution". Of course, getting to the point of being suicidal is in a sense "being sick" so who knows?

I vote for evil...

So.....

If your suicidal then your sick and not rational.
If your lucid enough to plan killing your self you must be rational.

So anyone killing them selves must be both?!

I don't disagree much with your conclusion, but your reasoning is a bit off!
