Default Battleship Gun Sounds

I have created a mission, mainly to test the Gneisenau/Scharnhorst turrets corrected by RB's mod (which works fine ).

I had a German battlegoup consisting of Bismark, Graf Zeppelin, Gneisenau, Scharnhorst, Hipper, Blucher, Eugen, etc etc meeting up with Hood, Rodney, Ark Royal usw,and what do I hear - Al Capone and his merry men shooting hell out of each other with thomson machine guns - pretty impressive if you like Bonny and Clyde. However, I really would have expected sounds more like those heard in "PT Boats". Does anyone know of any realistic heavy gun sounds available?

what i can think of doing is looking through your own machine and finding maybe sonething you would prefer
like if you have a FPS with really good artillery or something, maye you can convert it to work for that.
thats usually what i do if i find something i dont like about the sound
