Default Trigger Maru and metric system

Hello,

I use Trigger Maru and my settings are set to "Metric".
Everything looks fine but when i go to the torpedo screen and click on a torpedo i get some info about this torp, info about speed, range etc.
Strange, but the info about range at certain speed is in yards instead of meters.
What can i do about this?

Thanks and good hunting,
fvd

Oversight on my part. Its an entry in the menu.txt. i pasted in the imperial torpedo info ive been using since the dawn of time, and forgot about metric info. Its just tooltip info, a text label, nothing determental, and doesnt effect the functionality of the game at all.

Hi Ducimus,

First of all: i have a lot of respect for your work and we all are greatfull for your great mod's!

Is there any chance i could change this textfile?
Because values in yards doesn't say anything to me...
So if you would have the metric values and the location of the file, maybe i could change it???

thanks and regards,
fvd

It's simple, just open up the data/menu/menu.txt file, and replace the similarly numbered block of data with the following:

5370=MARK 10|Speed: 36 kt|Range: 3,200 m|Propulsion: Steam
5371=MARK 14|Speed: 46/31 kt|Range: 4,100/8,200 m|Propulsion: Steam
5372=MARK 16|Speed: 46 kt|Range: 12,500 m|Propulsion: Hydrogen Peroxide
5373=MARK 18|Speed: 29 kt|Range: 3,600 m|Propulsion: Electric
5374=MARK 23|Speed: 46 kt|Range: 4,100 m|Propulsion: Steam
5375=MARK 27|Speed: 12 kt|Range: 4,500 m|Propulsion: Electric|Note: Homing torpedo

Hi Ducimus,

Don't know...
Actually: i did not use this mod, should i?

By the way, (probably stupid question) how do i ude the optional mods?
Just copy the folder out of the support folder and paste it into the mods folder where i can activate it with JSGME?
