Default Save the Yamato!

Sadly sights like these have become all too common. Sinkings have become more and more freequent (with one sick individual going so far as to post a "how to" video) and threaten to exterminate this amazing sixty four thousand ton apex predator entirely. Some chose to exterminate these beauties for sport, and others for renown. Many cite aggression as the reason for violence against Yamato, yet the best way to avoid aggression from Yamato is to observe it quietly from a distance. While it may be a deadly threat to you it is a caring protector to the lesser vessels it travels with and shows an inspiring dedication to their safety. Others may just be ignorant of its anatomy. While we are fully capable of submerging at will Yamato never submerge on their own volition and submerging is a sign of very poor health. Without this magnificent beast the ecosystem of the Pacific theater could be irrevocably destabilized. Please help stop the violence and ensure your grandchildren have the opportunity one day to see Yamato themselves.

If you would like to pledge yourself to the cause please post this image in your signature.

I assure you, Schlageter-JG26, that the only mind altering substance I am under is a deap love and respect for one of the greatest of the Pacific's inhabitants. Well, I guess I am under two influences: love, respect and devo-

As a matter of fact we are. Any unneeded diesel and seamen you might have available would greatly aid the many crippled Yamato we currently have under our care.

We Saviors of Indigenous Naval Crafts (or Sinc) have accepted the same reality that your sex education class has: that you're going to do what you bloody well like regardless of what we tell you. Therefore we have decided to guide you in the safest way to destroy these magnificent entities, despite our sincere hope that you abstain from the activity.

On sighting the Yamato it would be wise to submerge to periscope depth. After getting a good angle of approach maneuver yourself to be perpendicular to the ship at about fifteen hundred yards. Surface and cut power to your engines. This will allow the ship to prepare itself for its impending and undignified demise at your hands. In order to facilitate your attack the Yamato in question will turn its guns to face you. If it doesn't do this right away you may wish to fire a shot over the vessel to speed the process. Wait exactly one minute, regardless of any activity that would cause you to desire otherwise. If you do not wait a full minute your torpedoes will be ineffective. After a full minute you should be able to attack and receive your blood stained rewards.

We at SINC would like you to remember, though, that the only way to guarantee your safety is through abstinence.

There is no common "plural" form in Japanese langauge, so "two Yamato" is most natural. It may be said Yamatoes in English, though.

The stress should be put on the first 'a,' thus 'Ya' is pronounced with accent, not "ma," if you would like to behave pedantic.

I would like to nominate this thread as Post of the Month, or even 'Classic'.

Default omg...

This thread is amazing. I've been truly enlightened by your plea, and if I ever have any spare seamen I can donate, I'll be sure to. Do they have a paypal account for this kind of a donation, or is there another way to donate seamen?
