Default 16K environment and glowing night ocean

Hello mates.

I am running GWX and Commander

Two questions:

1. I enabled the 16K environment mod last night for the first time (via JSGME). Not sure what it does. Is it a higher resolution environment? Seems like it might be. I also noticed my underwater shots were a lot murkier. Any connection?

2. In GWX is there a mod that could get rid of that weird glow in the oceam after sundown? I spent some time at sea as an offshore scallopper and I ain't never seen an ocean like that. All it ever looked like to me was DARK!

Lo mate!

1. The 16k mod expands your (rendered) view-distance from 8k (stock) to 16k. You and your Crew can now see ships and land from very faaar....so do the Tommies!
The murkier water, is intended since the sub-simmer of GWX believe that one can not see far under water. IT's conected to the GWX mod...in general. Not the 16k mod per se.
But if you have SH3 Commander, you can set a custom value to the underwater murky-ness.

2. as for the glow...i'm not sure! Sorry!:hmm:

Thanks, Mate. I will adjust water clarity through Commander.

The Ocean reflection color in reality I believe depends from the location where u live, weather conditions and time of the year most probably..
