Hi i've been playing with GWX for a while now and i realised that when i used the 88mm or the 105mm gun there was no AP or flares only HE rounds, when i turned on the integrated orders mod with JSGME i could see the icons but couldnt click on them. i was just woundering did GWX remove the AP and the flares.
Also i normally save when im at perisope depth just about to fire my topedoes however i noticed that when i tried to reload my save i find that i have look outs on the conning tower even when im 15m under water this some times has resulted in the enemy spotting me at perisope depth im just woundering has anyone else had this problem? |

Yes GWX removed all but HE rounds as in reality these where what were used rather than the selection given in stock.
The problem with crew appearing at PD is a stock SHIII bug and not related sepecifically to GWX. It is not advisable to save when submerged as problems like this one and the death dive to crush depth can sometimes result. |

Another GWX question: After having at last got the modded game up and running after a load of troubles with my PC, I find that when I want to start a mission I can't create my own character's name: no matter what I type in I just get "Kommandant". Is this a feature of GWX?

If you mean when you want to start a career, then no, that is not a GWX feature. Were you able to clear out all your folders, including the MyDocuments/SH3 folder, as well as the installation folder for a truly clean start, as outlined in the GWX Manual? Pablo

That's right! I meant to say when I start a new career. I used to type in spoof German names but now I just get "Kommandant" after pressing "annehmen" (accept). I always play in German, both text and spoken. I'm sure I did a full clean up before installing as I'd had lots of probs and followed the advice given me here in this forum . I'll check it out though and start a new career.
Thanks. |

Fixed it! It seems that one must click "ANNEHMEN " twice.
