Default SH4 in CROSSFIRE 2900PRo's

Guys I have been testing(1.3 patch) crossfire and single card performance in SH4.

I made a save game in port. Started up with custom settings in my video card (so the game can't change the card's aa etc.) and got 60 fps max graphics.

Then I started it up in crossfire mode, same settings on card and game, and got 20 fps..

Huge huge performance drop when running in crossfire mode.

Does anyone know what the issue is?

I also tested with other software , 3dmark06 , got 13000 in single card mode and 17600 in crossfire so it works (i think).

Does anyone have any idea whats going on here?

I can't remember the specifics, but I do know this was addressed before, and I seem to recall dual card owners disabling one card to play the game they way they wanted (better frames).

Seems odd, yes, but I believe that was the case.

Try a forum search, it might come up.

And what driver release?

I know the just-released Catalyst 7.10s made massive, MASSIVE improvements to Crossfire performance across-the-board, and fixed a bucket of bugs related to same.
