![]() ![]() Was wondering why after several dives to periscope depth,or any other depth for that matter,I notice I can no longer get to full flank speed of 17 knots. I could understand if the weather had changed enough to matter, but that is not the case. The best I can obtain is 13 knots.Good hunting and thanks. ![]() |

One of your engines is busy recharging the batteries.
If you need to chase somebody go to the Chief's options and set the engines for normal operation. If not, let it recharge, then you'll speed up again.

| |------------------------What Steve said! I noticed this one day. It bugged me to death, until I noticed that as soon as my batteries hit 100%, my speed increased to 19 knots! Being an Electronics expert, I went: "Oh." And then I went: "Oh.....yah, that's right." And then I went: "Duh." :rotfl: |

I once saw a tweak to the key config file that included a standard propulsion order before the crash dive when pressing the "C" key. Apparently it can effect your dive time too.
![]() I need to go find that one again... |
