Default USS Salmon

The history of this boat caught my attention on how brave her crew was durring 1944. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Salmon_%28SS-182%29
It seems that they were brave enought to take on 4 escorts on the sufrace and survived. What a brave act.

Yes that was a very good post of yours and It had me looking closer at the history of not only the Subs historys but the Japanese Destroyers as well. Very good to know the history of ours and the enemy at the time. I am glad to see Wiki also includes some indebth histroys on the Japanese ships and there storys as well. One of the Major reasons that I like this game is the history. Its a constant lesson to me and I enjoy every moment I play it. Bravory was common place durring WW2 on all sides I had 6 of my great uncles who served in WW2 one who died was a top gunner in a B-24 in the Polisti raid. History is a very important subject to me
