Political correctness isn't anymore what it used to be.

Even politicians do not consider it to be politically acceptable to eat their bear before killing it. Not to mention poor kittycats.

Strange. Do you often start threads on things you miss?

A 250lbs bear clings to a ledge on the Rainbow Bridge, near the town of Truckee, California.
The bear panicked and tried to jump over the bridge's rail after two vehicles drove past it as it crossed the bridge - it was stranded for almost 24 hours.
Rescuers lower a nylon net from an army surplus store as the bear looks on. More than 100 people gathered to see the rescue.
Rescuers shot the bear with a tranquiliser dart before using a pole to push it into the safety net.
An abseiler looks on as the bear is lowered to the ground.
The sheepish looking bear finally makes it back to land. He then made a quick exit into the hills near the ski slopes of nearby Lake Tahoe.
Where is the bit about eating bears?

Letum gave a story on a bear.

I answered by pointing at the craving for getting media attention. Choose yourself if I meant the bear or the rescuers.

Letum gave a story on complaints about cats being mistreated badly in the internet , and the subsim forum.

I expressed my sympathy with the poor cat by saying that political correctness is no longer what it used to be.

Letum said "Eh?"

I revealed that political correctness should made even politicians stop from eating living bears before they got killed - or mistreating poor cats in that way. It is clear for me that the bear went on the bridge to escape being eaten.

Letum said he was missing something.

I wondered in silence if it really only is one thing, and asked him if that is worth a thread.

Letum asked for his piece of bear to eat.

Sunvalley said that I was up and away.

I say I have run out of Malt.

Don't know what Neal said.

What a mess. And only because an Abseiler wanted to make it into the news. The photographer obviously was shaken by disgust and antipathy, look how he shook the photo. Even the man's head is cut out of the shot.

that is five-diimensional humour. You must reduce it by a dimensional factor of two to understand it. Call it laughter for the 22nd century. sorry for having you lost behind. I'll send you a rescue party when I'm out of orbit again. They will explain you the jokes in detail.

Never forget, I am an Aquarian. We think and laugh around five corners simultaneously.
