ok.. I must be an idiot.. I have downloaded the Ultimate Sound Pack and put it in my /data/sound folder replacing all the old files... but for some reason.. the new sounds don't play.. especially the deck guns.. all of them... sound effects for torpedoes firing don't work.. I can't figure it out!!!! Any advice... plz....

Sometimes when you unzip a downloaded mod, there's actually a duplicate named folder inside a folder; IE; SOUNDPACK MOD/SOUNDPACK MOD/ sound files.
Make sure when you copy and pasted, you only copied the the very last (inside) soundpack folder. And using JGSME would be much better than just copying over the game files.

Monolith is right, first rule of modding: Use JSGME.
![]() You run the risk of messing up your game if you cut and paste directly into the game folders.
