Default Possible mod: assisted "manual" targeting?

Sometimes I could really go for something between automatic and manual targeting. I guess it would be like manual targeting, but:

- Once you've got a target locked in the scope and identified you just press a button to get the range.
- After a couple of range and bearing readings, you click a button to get an AOB estimate (like what you can do for speed).

So you're easily feeding your TDC with good data, but you still have to go through the motions (taking readings, starting the PK, feeding the TDC fresh data). Would be great if you could do it all with sonar readings, too. Along with some assisted course plotting (a button to mark the last range/bearing sent to the TDC on the map?), it could be nice for training, or just for lazy captains

I guess what I'm getting at is "realistic but not manual."

I don't know if any of that is possible, though (or maybe even done already, heh).

I don't understand that neither. Knowing your own place and 2 range/bearing estimates. AoB and speed are known IMHO no need for guestimate AoB. I goofed up once (Aob P / S almost the same ) and didn't get an error just a ridicilous speed.

But I only played US 2 days now.. German is a walk in the park with a D2, vanilla but still Planes are way worse.
