Default Playing SH3 in black and white?

Hi guys,

Just finished admiring the photoshopping skills of people from the Realistic Photo thread. I was wondering if there was a way to edit some file in the game to alter the appearance of the graphics and visuals? I though it'd be neat to see all colours being converted to shades of gray and white as if to create that old photographic effect from WWII pictures. Feeling old-school here...

I bet the photographers taking pictures back in 1940 were thinking how great it would be if these pictures were in color as they were seeing them ...

If you really want to play in black and white you should try smartshaders, or turn down the saturation in your graphics card properties for color correction, that should do the trick

When I was a kid I actually thought the 1940's were in black and white!

Because of all the old war films and BW photos. It never dawned on me that BW was just the colour of the photos and not the actual events. I guess I just reasoned that because the pics my parents took on holiday were in colour and I see in colour then in the 1940's it must have been black and white, otherwise the pictures would be in colour! Wouldn't they?:hmm: :rotfl:

Childs logic eh!

Decades ago , in the early days of color TV, I saw a cartoon showing a black-and-white scene of a family watching a color TV, with the announcement "Now, in living color!"
