Downloaded music not playing

I downloaded and installed the grammaphone1 mod and installed it with the mod enabler but I don't hear any of the music from the mod. Very strange because on my other comp the grammaphone mod works perfectly. Anyone have any ideas?

My gramaphone has always been quirky, playing only the files it wants to, regardless of format.

Well I checked the instructions again and I manually put the songs in the location they were supposed to go to. I guess the mod installer was putting them in the wrong place. So it is working now. I do notice that some songs get interrupted in the middle of playing, though. And I can't turn the dang grammaphone OFF no matter what button I push. Oh well.

For me I've noticed when making gramophone mods I have in some cases changed the file from WAV to another format to get it to work, if you are unsure about how to convert just PM me and I'll get you started.

Your better off pasting your tunes direct into:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII GWX 104TESTor SH3\data\Sound\Gramophone

Oggvorbis is the most stable format....and the format used originally by the game.
You can listen to them using VLC media player (free)
http://vlc-media-player.en.softonic.com/

To convert music files to different formats I prefer dBpoweramp music converter:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
Don't forget to d/l the codecs from the codec central tab.

Or you can just download the OGG plug in for Windows media player, I Have WMP 11 and it works fine!
