Default Resupplying torpedoes

Anyone know how to resupply torpedoes while out of port? I ran into a sweet convoy and sank the escort but I was empty on torpedoes. Just wondering if there is a file to change that would reload them for me. :hmm:

In the stock game, I'm not aware of any way other than docking at another friendly base. In GWX, you can go to a supply ship or supply sub and they will resupply your torps, along with fuel and ammo.

If it is about hacking the save game files so that to increase number of torps, AFAIK nobody succeeded doing this here. There was even talk about "refuelling" this way, but no success so far, I think.
So, for the moment, your only chance is docking at a Milkcow in a supermod (stock game has no resupply uboots).

I know that Commander automatically reduces your stay at a Milchcow to 1 day, does that apply to friendly vessels in ports also? If not it doesn't matter as I can reduce the days spent in port via Commander anyway, but would be interested to know beforehand.
