Default noob;jsgme;vista.LOST!

Hopefully I can explain my problem.I did do the search and that cured one of my problems.I installed the game under my user name.Made a file games\Ubisoft\SHIV.Installed the game no problem, did not do even do a desktop icon.Installed the 1.3 patch under the same file and it installed no problem.
that was because of what I read here

I had tried to download jsgme to desktop and open it on vista, learned my lesson quick!!! FLASHING SCREEN and you lose access to your internet.

Next problem.I was able to download jsgme,I had made a mod file in sh4 and put it there.opened it and no problem. No flashing screen .But for some reason I dont get what I need.I get a read me file and 2 others.

Is there a jsgme exe?and where should I put it?

THANKYOU in advance

Scott

Default JSGME exe File

Dear Scott, First you remove the mod folder you manually installed as the below process will automatically install it for you.Run the jsgme setup in any empty folder you like, rename it jsgme and you will find that the spoked wheel is the jsgme exe file. Click and copy it to the SH4 main directory; go to SH4 main directory and click the wheeled icon and it will open up the generic mod enabler window. From there on in all you have to do to install any mod is to right click it and send to the 'mod' folder via 'SH4\Mods. Regards, Grant
