hi kaptains
am running gwx and i want to ask if its possible to "dissapear" from the campaign the kss and ksq steamers. i had read some time ago a thread called "any merchant in any convoy" or something like that and the author explained how can do that.
he wrote that you open the rnd.mis and edit-find-kss-replace="blank". i tried keeping a back up of this file,but when am starting a new campaign ...ctd
also i tried to change the appearing date in cfg doiong from 01091939 to 31121946
but no luck
any ideas?

The KSQ and KSS is deeply embedded in both Scr and Rnd as was an original ship

ANY changes made to those two files have to be done porperly or CTD

In the replace section you type nothing when using notepad replace all function and can only ne done for the Rnd
In the scr you will have to add another class name in to replace them with

Ummm why would you want to get rid of those 2 ships anyway ?
Unless you only want big tonnage shipping
