Fuji Class in a Convoy!!

Spotted a Fuji Class in a Convoy and fired 3 torps at 1200meters and all missed!! She must have spotted the wake - anyway - may get her next time as I am in the process of doing a go round to get in front of the convoy!

Man she is huge!! very well done in SH3 as well. Hopefully I will take her down, want to attack again before the sun comes up.

Funny thing is that she didn't do any depth charging and left it to the other two destroyers in the convoy.

It was probably gaurding against surface raiders, plus cruisers dont carry DG's...

Use elecric torps the next time!

yes i was supposed to fire my 2 electrics, but in the adrenilin rush I fired the wrong tube which contained the old steam torp!!

The same happened to me once, although I managed to hit her three times on seperate occasions...she never went down. Bloody good damage control!

Cruisers and above didnt even have hydrophones IIRC
Didnt need them so no DC either
Thats the escorts job

get to between 400 and 300 meters. they dont have time to take evasive at that range. do the attack when it is dark too.
