If you mount 40mm AA forward, along with the best deck\gun you can get,let the crew, man the deck gun,Auto enabled fire at will,shoot for hull,& you man the fwd.40mm,ahead flank!! what A rush!! at 1000 yds. It uses up your targets hit points faster,& down he goes. Make sure other ships in convoy are not in close range,or they will hole your hull.:p "Damn the torps full speed ahead."

You can't do this in TM + NSM, which is pretty much the default installation for any serious subsimmer

I do belive standing orders are not to get into gun fights unless your sub has a major advantage. i.e. No guns on the enemy

What is NSM?? Now mates,being the advocate for the casual gamer,& I take the arcade occasion as some fun in dieing ,part of the game,because if we didn't have men willing to give there lives,for there country,this game wouldn't be very real.
