[NOOB] AOB and optimum shot with periscope vue

Even with the great video noob guide from Dr_Aquila i often missed my target.
Either i rocket to early or too late.

With manual targeting and 90° shot less than 1000m
My spread angle -1 to +1 target are low or medium merchant (7kts max)
I feel very frustating

I don't think my formular is bad but considering time to rocket with -40° to -30°
comparing to the "zero" from the periscope view, i need your advice and your experience.

Thanks in advance

Default Welcome!

Rather than bore you with advice that is less than ideal, let me direct you to WernerSobe's sub school at http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=118923

This will get you up to speed with basic manual targeting and when you are done with all three videos you will be amazed at how well you are suddenly sinking ships. Coming soon will be gutted's thread on Fast-90 torpedo tactics, which will give you another set of tools with which to clear the ocean of targets.

The learning curve is steep but the thrill of hitting a ship on full manual targeting is worth the frustration.
