Just some Germany documentary film from the 90s.

Der 3. Weltkrieg part 1/6 (inital North Atlantic naval action)
Soviet Hunter-Killers going hot in the GIUK-Gap destroying 25% of NATO naval fleet. Angloamerican Naval/Air Counterattack with heavy losses destroys Soviet Northern Fleet securing atlantic shipping lines to Europe.

Der 3. Weltkrieg part 2/6 (Battle for Schleswig-Holstein: Warsaw Pact amphibious invasion in FRG)
12.000 troops from Soviet Baltic Fleet and GDR Volksmarine are landing at Heiligenhafen, northern West German baltic coast. Suprised NATO reacts with a ad hoc defence from Bundeswehr + British, Dutch and Belgian forces. Recently arrived US Army III. Corps joints in with 40.000 men. Both sides take heavy losses. At end of day Soviet and Eastgerman forces have established a bridgehead and taken Eutin.

NATO throws in huge amount of forces to stabilize Northern German Front. But Baltic See Invasion was only decoy. Eastgerman 3. Army of NVA and Soviet 1. Guards Tank Army attack at Fulda with 1600 tanks and 100.000 men trying to cut NATO forces, and to reach the Rhine. Soviet Air Force aims to destroy NATO air force in central Europe on the ground. 50% of NATO air force facilities get destroyed. 20% casualties for Soviets in the air. Both sides exhaust their ammunition stocks on the first day.

Angloamerican bombing-run on Soviet Operation Command HQ in Legnica, Poland
NATO Airforce bombs Soviet HQ, Pact seeks revenge in Air Battle over Poland.

With Legnica in ashes, Pact forces in Central Germany have lost communication and air coverage. Uprising in Poland becomes thread for Pact supply lines. Only 60% of soviet tank force was useful for combat right from the beginning. Warsaw Pact loses initiative. After Legnica NATO has air superiority over Germany. Pact forces get pushed back in eastern direction. Eastgerman Forces have taken very high casualties. NVA troop morale is shaken.
