Default Bear Grylls faking his show?

This is interesting. I wonder just how much of his show is staged.

Pff, just someone trying to get back at the competition.

Bear only stayed in a hotel on 2 occasions, both of which contained feverish circumstances (in short, he was sick both times; I mean REALLY sick).

Still, I like Survivor Man a lot.

Haven't seen Bear's show before, but the fact that he has a camera man walking along with him should maybe be your first clue. Big fan of Survivorman here.

Maybe, but I like reality. I would believe his exploits more if I saw him getting sick or hurt when he never does. I've seen survivor man getting sick and hurt, and I've seen him defeated and leave Utah state! I've never seen this from Bear. That is why I question it. Even the fittest, most knowledgeable man can't pull it off 100% every time. That is why I beleive Survivor man, and take Bear with a grain of salt.

I have another video of him with him hiding a life jacket under his shirt when he isn't supposed to be using one. I understand his crew wanted this for safety, but still, I wish he devulged that first instead of making us belive it didn't exist.

Personally, I liked his show, but now I have to think twice on what he has been saying because of this. I can take him being safe for the shoot. i have no problem with that. Just let me know first.

What's up with all the "floating down the rapids" thing? I've seen him do it twice now. I'd never do that. You get all wet and cold, if the water is shallow you'll hit rocks, you may end up trapped in the bottom of the river by the rapids, it's just one big waste of energy. Why? I'd just keep killing bunnies with wooden sticks and start a forestal fire to get Search & Rescue's attention. At least food and water are easy to come by in jail. How about that for an episode: how to survive jail after burning the forest to get SAR to you. Survivorman goes to jail: http://www.temporaryservices.org/videos.html (more like McGyver).

The life-jacket just screams what a great piece of advice it is jumping in a deadly river that already took two lives just to travel faster.
