Default Thinking of switching broadband supplier

Living in the UK and using Tesco for my 1Meg Broadband but paying $19.97 a month.
Now 1 Meg is fine but I am sure I can get 1mb unlimited cheaper and faster unlimited for the same price. The only thing I am concerned about is hassle. I am also wondering who is good to go with.

BT look quite good. The only thing that bugs me about a fair few of them is the fair usage policy. From scooting about the net it seems that only in the UK there is this daft thing and many other countries have cheaper unlimited 8Mb broadband.

any ukers out there can give me any advice?

Only time i went away from BT i used supernet they were crap, i have my TV and all that combined so it does cost me alot more but ive got unlimited broadband upto 8mb, unlimited mail storage and allowed 10 sub emails and my own web page.

Cant really grumble at the service they always worked thier socks off for me and i havnt been without broadband for any long period of time either (when it went down).

So 85/100 for BT supernet well...25/100 being generous.

Telewest/Virgin here....£25 4MB unlimited (soon to be upgraded by them to 10MB) or £35 20MB unlimited.....take yer pick

The most important ponderable after d/l speed has got to be u/l speed for filesharing (ftp) etc. :hmm:
