Questions about Trigger Maru?

What are the differences between Trigger Maru 1.5 & 1.4? In vanilla SHIV , when your given an objective & you complete that objective you are generally given another objective. If like in the case of shortage of fuel, can you return to base which is Midway without completing the second objective of that patrol?
