I don't know if this has been brought up before but i find something strange in my latest two patrols.
I am currently in GWX career (1.03) that started 1939. I am now in Bergen to get a XXI and its May 1944 (no DiD ![]() Since i've got the external camera on, i usually take a look at what i'm dealing with when my RWR is getting radar signals. U-2502 approached at night and the map said that a radar contact was near the harbor, yet when i switched to to external view, it sat in open water, together with some merchants and two coastal batteries! No landmasses near it. The odd thing was that the harbor installations were back when the daylight came. I didn't took pictures because i knew that Lerwick was bugged in the initial version of GWX and i thought that wasn't really fixed. Today, on my second patrol, that started on May 29th, i wanted to take the challenge and watch D-Day happen. To get a little bit of safety i crawled along the german controlled coast and got radar signals from dunkirk harbor. It was again night and i wanted to check out what we got there. This time i got proof. That was the view from one of the german destroyers at night: ![]() I waited until dawn to see if there is really no harbour or if there's the same problem as it is in Lerwick. It is the same problem: ![]() Am i the only one experiencing this problem? Some harbors just disappear at night including the whole landmass and are happily back when the sun rises. Has this something to do with the external cam? (Which a real Kaleun would never use of course... ![]() |
