Overall, things are looking pretty good right now. How old is SH4 now? 6 months or so? If one was to compare SH4 to SH3 at 6 months or so old, SH4 is leaps and bounds ahead. Sure the game still has a couple of hard to resolves issues laying under the surface, but theres really not THAT much left to fix. SH4 is doing really good.

Been away on a five week vacation. Came back, got 1.3, installed and had a look-see. Very glad they got rid of that stupid copy protection routine - with that gone and after downloading the Small Merchant CTD fix, I've had absolutely no CTD's for a week now.

The game is awesome, and thanks to the modders it's getting even better and better (using LB Ocean, waiting for lightning).

Thank you devs, moders, and subsim!

After 6 months of testing on various missions and patrols using some modding
and tweaking myself in certain areas, I am pleased at how the game runs now.
I am only waiting for the campaign layers to be more realistic before I venture
forth to do my first campaign....

I'm still waiting on my CPU, MB and PSU before my gaming station will be complete. THEN I'll see what SH4 can REALLY do...
