You know that ? icon in the targetting map tools, which overlays a compass type thing onto your boat, showing 0-360 degrees? Is there a way (a mod, perhaps?) of getting that tool in the nav map?

If you install GWX, it's incorporated. I think you can also download a map bearing overlay from the hosted downloads section of this website
