is there a solution to the external camera bug?

Hi

I run SHIII with all 4 patches, and with Commanders mod,, none others other than added a few ships.

the bug I am encountering is this,
when I click to external camera, usuall all is fine,, but if I do this and a convoy is near,, then the camera goes who knows where, and instead of cycling throuigh those ships I have a sound contact or visual on,, it goes other places,, sometimes angled, sometime deep, or pointing to some zenith somewhere?

Bug or hidden feature??

any patch/fix to it??

Are you using a supermod?

So far, this bug has been reduced by making most units listed as (IIRC) LND something else but it still happens now and again.

It's PITA but usually a reload will fix it.

Something that you gotta live with, fortunately it does not happen that much. Make sure you save your game a few times and at key points during a patrol.

The bouncing camera bug, ahhh.
One of the live with features, kind of like with damage control when after you stop all leaks and recover from flooding you can't maintain depth unless your ahead standard. Unless of course you want your boat to bounce right to the bottom, but unlike the camera bug it does not bounce back up.
