Default Importing with Pack 3D help please.

Ok, I made the 3d objects, I have the .obj's and the .mtl's but how do I make Pack 3d replace the parts in the .dat?

I can't get it to import both the .obj and the .mtl.

When ever I try to import anything Pack 3d says "java.lang.NullPointerException"

Can someone please explain to me how to import things with Pack 3d, beacause I dont understand when it is explained here: http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=43777

Thanks for the help!

Hi mate,
you just have to import the .obj-file. Make sure you uv-mapped the 3Dobject or Pack3D will not import it.

Well, I edited the model of another ship that was already in the game, wouldn't it already be UV mapped? if not, how would I UV map something? where is a good tutorial for it if I'm using Wings 3d?

If you just scale the model or move parts of it etc. there should be no problem. When you are adding new parts you also have to map them.

HERE is a Tutorial for Wings3D, if you have more questions just ask, I am using this programm also, but im a newbie with it too
