Rank and performance

Hey everyone,
Does rank affect performance? Or is it just experience points? Having a boat full of Admirals wouldnt be realistic.

Certainly yes rank will have some effect but trade qualifications have more
effect both are limited in the sense that you cant move a compartment
beyond maximum 100% efficiency as indicated by the top bar. so stacking
helps but overstacking wont, and outside of my latest uber there are no
versions im aware of with more than a limited # of billets for offcers nco's
and seamen.

Rank tends to effect things more like endurance and morale but even
then only in small increments.
